Concentration

Ok, so, second post within like, fifteen minutes. But I figure it would be good to say a little something about my concentration. (Yes, even though you see no evidence of it, I have started it.) My concentration is sort of an exploration of the relationship between objects. It's a little vague, but I'm excited because it will allow me to explore negative space as well as maybe go into more of the relationship between people expressed by how they are standing or sitting or postioned in relation to each other. I'm also usually guilty of creating very similar compositions. Not so much of the media or style that I use, but more in the sense of where the focal point is on the page. Mrs. McBride and I have discoverd that much too often it is in the center :/ Sooo I think this concentration will help me change that up a bit, and by focusing more on negative space, the compositions of my pieces have become more interesting. Of course, I still have a ways to go, but at least I like where it's headed.
